Hi we are planning to book a cruise on November what part of the room is the best to book?

    Ahoy, Sherry Mae!

With your voyage setting sail in November, it sounds like you’ll be embarking on a Very Merrytime Cruise, full of festive cheer and high-seas holiday magic. What a splendid way to launch the season!

I am happy to help you set a course for the best stateroom location on board. I’ve sailed forward, aft, midship, high on the upper decks, and even down near the waterline, and each area has its own unique charm.

If you're concerned about feeling the motion of the ocean, your best bet is the middle of the ship on a middle deck. This area tends to offer the smoothest sailing and is often favored by those who are prone to seasickness.

The upper decks keep you close to all the fun on the pool deck—slides, Funnel Vision movies, soft-serve, and soda stations await just above. On the lower decks, you’re just a few steps from the dining rooms, the Walt Disney Theatre, and the grand atrium. Another factor to weigh is your distance from stairwells and elevators. These can be wonderfully convenient, but sometimes a bit lively with foot traffic.

In the end, the best location truly depends on what your crew values most. I recommend setting your sights on the deck plans available on the Disney Cruise Line website. There, you can map out your ideal stateroom and set your course for a smooth and magical sailing.

    Bon Voyage!
