Ahoy there, Tina!
Thank you so much for sailing by planDisney with your
Concierge stateroom questions. Oh, my goodness… you are in for such a treat. My family and I recently sailed Concierge on the Disney Destiny, and it truly felt like we were sprinkled with a little extra pixie dust the entire trip. From priority boarding to early-entry seating at the
Broadway-style shows, access to the Concierge Lounge and private sun deck, and upgraded in-room amenities, it really is next-level magic. On the Adventure, even having access to the dedicated Concierge Spa and fitness area is such a special touch.
Now let’s talk staterooms. First, you really can’t go wrong; both options are beautiful. It just comes down to what fits your family’s travel style best.
The
Concierge Inside Staterooms on the
Adventure are surprisingly spacious and can sleep up to six Guests. They feature a main bedroom, a secondary sleeping space, and two bathrooms. Which, as a mom, I can tell you, is a game-changer when everyone is getting ready for dinner. The design is inspired by Thor, giving it a fun feel. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s an inside stateroom, so there’s no exterior view. It will be completely dark when the lights are off, which honestly can mean the best sleep ever after a full day of soft-serve runs and deck parties.
The
Concierge Family Garden View Stateroom with Verandah also sleeps up to six and includes two bathrooms. These rooms have subtle, heroic nods to the Marvel universe, and the standout feature is the private verandah overlooking Disney Imagination Garden. Having that outdoor space is so special. I loved enjoying morning coffee on our Verandah before the kids woke up. The verandahs do have childproof locks. My girls are currently 4 and 8, and we’ve sailed with them even younger. I remember feeling a little nervous the first time, too, but truly, it was never an issue. The locks are secure, and we loved enjoying breakfast on the verandah together with zero worries.
If it were my choice, I tend to lean toward a verandah because we love having that outdoor space. But truly, either option will feel luxurious and magical for your family.
As for location, midship is always a great choice, especially if it’s your first cruise or if anyone is prone to motion sickness. That’s exactly what we chose on our first sailing for that reason. On a more recent cruise, we stayed aft and had incredibly smooth sailing, but midship is always a safe and comfortable bet.
Tina, you are going to have the most incredible time being part of the Concierge family onboard. If you have any more questions while you’re counting down to that sail-away horn, feel free to visit us again.
Bon voyage,
Christina
