We are planning the blue lagoon island dolphin encounter in the Bahamas. Since we will be away from the boat most of the day, can we take a cooler with snacks so as to not spend as much money while on the island?

    Hi Karen!
Welcome to the Moms Panel - thanks for stopping by with your question!

Looks like you're ready for some splashtastic fun with the dolphins in Nassau! What fun you'll have interacting with these beautiful creatures. You'll get to hug, kiss, and even dance with the dolphins during your afternoon at Blue Lagoon.

Disney Cruise Line has a strict policy about taking food such as fruit or sandwiches off the ship. However, you should be able to take pre-packaged, unopened snacks like Goldfish crackers, fruit snacks and sealed bottled water without a problem. We usually pack some of these in our carryon for snacks. (However, with all the delicious food onboard, there's not much need for snacking!)

I did see that the meeting times for this Port Adventure are typically around 12:45 and 2:30, which would give you plenty of time to eat a big, delicious lunch before disembarking for your excursion!

    Hopefully this helps!
