I am planning a birthday trip for WDW 11/2024. Are there planners that can help with making reservations for individual families at the Disney resorts?

Hey Howdy Hey Monica and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth later this month to celebrate a birthday with the family! While these trips are amazing and Disney does an excellent job at accommodating large parties, the planning at times can be tricky. Not to worry Monica, I've got some tips that may help you navigate the planning.

While you do have the option to call Disney and speak with a Cast Member about booking your reservations, the planning portion would be more on you and your family. They may be able to give you suggestions but you should have a good idea of what you want to book and when at the time you call Disney. The one thing I would highly recommend for your party is to get in touch with a Disney Vacation Planner.

Disney Vacation Planners are travel agents who specialize in booking trips to Walt Disney World Resort but are not formal Disney Cast Members. They will use their expertise in finding the right accommodations for your party and can book the entire trip for no extra cost! If you do a quick internet search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner", there should be many options to choose from. One thing to keep an eye out for is the Disney distinction. You may see different companies that are EARMARKED for their level of service and number of trips booked. Disney gives these distinctions to companies that book a lot of trips and go above and beyond for their clients and can be a good way to sort through the number of travel agents. In most cases, you will be able to discuss your travel needs with these professionals and they can give you several options on accommodations for your party needs and size. They will take care of booking all the reservations for you and take a huge load of the planning off of your shoulders so you all can enjoy the fun parts of planning.

Depending on your family's needs and size, I would highly suggest you look into accommodations at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Here you will find accommodations for smaller families as well as options for Family Suites that can sleep extended or larger families. The amenities are fantastic as the Big Blue Pool is the largest hotel pool onsite at a Disney Hotel. You will also have several options of transportation the unique one being Disney Skyliner to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT theme parks.

Best of luck as you plan for your exciting trip later this year. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
