Hello, Ken, and welcome to planDisney!
Let me first begin with a very “Happy Birthday” to your granddaughter. Based on the date of your upcoming visit I think she and I may even share a birthday, or at least birth month. I hope she has the most magical visit! If you’re looking for more ways to celebrate her you might want to consider booking a
Character Dining meal or princess makeover at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Both are great additions to an already exciting trip.
Walt Disney World has many great
offers you can take a look at as you plan for your visit. I also recommend taking a look at the additional offers exclusive to
Florida residents. Did you know, there’s even an
Annual Pass offer intended for Florida residents like yourself? Depending on your budget, it might be best to purchase your Annual Pass and then use your Annual Pass towards the current
resort offer. I recommend taking a moment to sit down with a scratch paper and work out all the pricing options. There are so many to choose from, sometimes it’s nice to write it all out and figure out what’s best for your family. My husband knows when I sit down with my laptop and a notepad, I mean business.
The
military offer is also a great option! As a military spouse myself, I often take advantage of this offer for our family trips. Double-check the fine print before going this route as your former marine will need to be a retiree to take advantage of this option. If I were you and living in Florida, my family would probably gravitate towards those Florida resident options. Especially that Annual Pass offer since we frequently visit the theme parks.
Ken, I hope these options help guide you toward the best option for your family! If you need any other help or have other specific questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us again. Enjoy your visit and please wish your granddaughter a very special happy birthday from all of us here at planDisney!
Magical Memories,
Shantel
