Hi there, Nicole!
You've come to the right place for planning help with your trip! I'm so excited for you! I can't think of a more
FUN way to spend your 40th birthday than by going on your very first
trip to Walt Disney World! There are so many wonderful things to see and experience
and I'm thrilled that you stopped by the Moms Panel for some help with planning!
You made a great choice with your decision to stay
at Disney's Contemporary Resort! My
recommendation for your Character dinner is going to be Chef Mickey's since it's right there in your Resort hotel.
You'll definitely want to meet The Big Cheese at his restaurant, it's
one of our family favorites. You'll love watching the monorail sail past
you overhead while you're dining. You can take a ride on the monorail
after you're finished with dinner and head over to Magic Kingdom Park
for fireworks! Since this is such a special occasion, you might want to consider taking a
Specialty Fireworks Cruise that will give you the most spectacular view of the fireworks!
One of the areas that my husband and I like to visit when we don't have our children with us is
Disney's BoardWalk. There are some really fantastic restaurants there, and there is even a Dualing Piano Bar called Jellyrolls that is a whole lot of fun!
If you haven't already, I encourage you to order your
Free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD because there is all sorts of fun information about things to do. Please come back with more questions as we all love to help!
Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
