We are planning a big family trip to Disneythe week of Dec 10. My parents rented a Villa for 14 of us to stay but I wanted to go down a day or two early. There will be 2 adults and 4 children ages from 12 to 8 all girls too. How should we do this economica

Hi Erik!  Your best bet for value will come at one of the great Disney Value Resorts. I suggest you check out the All Star Music resort which can offer you either a choice of two rooms or one of their Family Suites that can sleep six. Click HERE to see the specifics about their rooms. Their regular rooms run from $84-$99 depending on location. The Family Suites will run about $198 per night. You can request connecting rooms but that isn't guaranteed although Disney will do all they can to make it happen.

The new Art of Animation resort also has Family Suites but they will run about $249 a night so it is a good deal more for about the same amenities that the All Star Music can offer. Obviously the newer resort is drawing many more people for simply the fact that it is new! Disney has added new technology to all aspects of the resort making it one of the most interesting on property now. But if value is what you are needing I say go for the All Star Music!
