    Hi, we are planning a big family Disney cruise vacation for Dec. 2019. What it the weather typically like? Will we be able to enjoy water activities?

    Hello Melissa,

    Thanks for sailing by.  How exciting that you have a December 2019 holiday Disney Cruise Line vacation in sight.  You don't mention where you are sailing to, but I suspect, given the time of year, you are headed to the Caribbean or Bahamas.  In either case, while weather is unpredictable, trends and averages suggest you will have lovely, warm weather.  My boys and I have sailed on several December cruises, and have enjoyed our days on the pool deck and at Castaway Cay in the warm sun.  While the ocean is certainly warmer in the summer months, it was still quite pleasant, and we swam much of the day on the island.  Again, while no one can predict the weather, and it is possible to get an unusually cool or warm spell, averages suggest you will have lovely weather.
