Hey there, Melissa!
We are happy to welcome you on deck at planDisney! I'm so happy to hear that you have a family vacation in store with Disney Cruise Line. All of your careful planning will pay off with smooth sailing when you voyage with Captain Mickey next year.
You are one big INCREDIBLE family, and so having all your reservations linked is as easy as Edna Mode assisting the Parr family. Since all the reservations have been linked to your account already, you are all set...no scrambling to find your super suit like Frozone!
It sounds like you have done all the heavy lifting and taken all the
reservation confirmation numbers and had them linked together. Now that you have done this, everyone else in your party will be able to enjoy the benefits and they do not have to worry about taking the same steps.
Next up for you and your superhero family is to coordinate your dining and Port Adventures! I suggest you call Disney Cruise Line and request that you all be seated together or at adjacent tables in the
rotational dining rooms. If any of your travel party would like to book either Palo or Remy reservations, then those reservations can also be shared and viewed together because your reservations are linked.
As for
Port Adventures, they are some of the best experiences we have as a family on Disney Cruise Line. But I know with so many choices, it can be overwhelming at first! Fortunately, there are ways to customize your search by port, activity level, experience type, accessibility, and price. And when you scroll through the list of individual offerings, they will detail if there are any specific age minimums.
As Mrs. Incredible says, it's important to "be a bit more flexible” because Port Adventures may book up in advance and you may not all be able to reserve the same excursion. If that is the case, I recommend checking with the Port Adventures desk on your embarkation day; you never know what might open up or what magic the Cast Members can work! We once were able to book the Alaskan kayaking and train adventure we wanted simply by asking to see if more spots were available.
My final tip is to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It has superpowers while onboard, enabling Guests to see activities and entertainment options, dinner menus, deck plans, and even offers a chat feature to send messages. And to think, you didn’t even need a cape!
DASH back to planDisney anytime. We would be happy to work with you to plan one SUPER cruise!
Happy Sailing!
