We are planning to come back to the Disneyland report in April 2024. The last time we were at Disneyland security did not allow a telescoping seat into the park. My wife occasionally needs to sit are canes with built in seats allowed?

Welcome to planDisney, Robert! Thank you so much for trusting us with your question and I'll be so glad to share some advice so you can continue planning your visit to Disneyland Resort this Spring!

Robert, I'm happy to report that cane-chair and seat-walker mobility aids are permitted in the Disneyland Resort, according to the current Park Rules. Folding chairs (and perhaps the telescoping chair that you referred to) are on the list of prohibited items, unfortunately. You can consult this list of permitted items for more details as you prepare what to bring with you on your upcoming visit. Of course, you'll want to remember that Cast Members at the security entrances will screen all items and have the last word on what items will be permitted in the resort area, for the safety of all Guests.

I hope this is some helpful guidance, for now, Robert! It looks like you'll be visiting during a very exciting time at Disneyland Resort, as your dates appear to overlap between Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival which runs from March 1 through April 22, and Season of the Force at Disneyland Park, returning April 5 through June 2! If we can help at all throughout your planning process, please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions.

    Wishing you magical memories,
    Tishra
