Hello, I am planning a bachelorette trip for my friend with 3 other friends. So a group of 5 girls to Disney. We were looking to do a 1 day trip maybe to EPCOT but open to suggestions. Can you give me any tips and specials to plan her special day.

    Welcome to planDisney, friend!

We’re so happy to hear from you, and I hope that you’re getting excited for your trip with your friends next month! Celebrating your friend’s bachelorette party at EPCOT is an incredibly magical idea, and I can tell that you are well on your way to a fabulous trip!

You’re in luck! The time that you’re wanting to visit will be during EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! This is a great time for you and your friends to enjoy cuisine and beverages around the world! There will also be a concert series, Eat to the Beat, happening while you’re there. (STARSHIP featuring Mickey Thomas will be performing September 12-14, you can see who else will be performing on the Eat to the Beat Concert Series page.)

Near EPCOT is a lovely little restaurant nestled in Disney’s Boardwalk Resort: The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant. This restaurant is just a short walk away from the International Gateway at EPCOT, and hosts an experience that would be absolutely PEFECT for a bachelorette celebration. Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea at The Cake Bake Shop® by Gwendolyn Rogers is an unforgettable afternoon tea experience. I went with some girlfriends last year, and I will NEVER forget how fancy I felt. The food and tea is also delicious! Consider making a reservation for this experience.

Another fun thing to consider doing at EPCOT is the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along that happens in a cozy little French cinema within the World Showcase. If your friend is a Belle fan, this is a delightful show that would feel extra special when shared with her friends! (I also recommend spending some time smelling the gorgeous perfumes in the shops near the sing-along.)

You may also want to consider the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience at EPCOT to end the day. The adult-exclusive GEO-82 lounge hosts this experience with light bites, sparkling sips, and you also get seated firework views for the evening spectacular at EPCOT. This could be a dazzling way to end your celebration with your friends.

Make sure you all stop by a gift shop for your complimentary “I’m Celebrating” buttons to wear around EPCOT while you’re visiting! You never know what extra magic will be sprinkled on you when wearing those buttons!

There is SO much to do at EPCOT that would be perfect for this celebration. If you’d like more ideas, please feel free to reach out again — we’re always eager to help here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
    Allyn
