We are planning an August 2013 trip to Disney. Is there a big difference in the crowds between the week of August 11th vs. the week of August 18th? We were hoping to go the week of August 11th. Thanks so much. This panel is such a great help!

    Hi Karyn!!!

Thank you so much for your question!!

I can totally relate with you asking about the time of year to visit Walt Disney World.  As an educator, the times I can visit are usually during peak times, so I have to be very selective on when I visit.

I believe that the week of August 18th will be a little less crowded than the week of August 11th.  The later you can get in the summer, the smaller the crowds will be.  However, if your heart is set on the week of August 11th, then I say go for that week.  I do not foresee any reason that a week earlier will make too huge of a difference in terms of crowd size.  Either way I know that you will have an awesome time!!

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
