Hi Moms! We are planning on attending the MNNSHP in Oct, but was wondering if there is a general timeline for the events/parade? Does the actual parade start promptly at 7? Also, is there any kind of list of the rides that stay open during the extra hours?

    Hello, Karyn,

Can I first say how jealous I am that you are heading to Walt Disney World and getting the bonus of attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!  It is such an incredible event and just so much fun. To help with your planning, I'd encourage you to visit the independent website allears.net and do a search for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This link will take you to all the information about the party from 2014 (such as all of the open attractions and dining); and when the party starts up again in 2015, it will likely post current information about it as well.  In fact, if you click on the Party Map link, it is what guests receive when they arrive at the party, so it is filled with all sorts of tips and information, too.

Similarly, disneytouristblog.com has a helpful article, including tips for the parade, called Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2015 Tips. I'd also plan on the parade starting at the time it is scheduled to begin, but sometimes there is the rare occasion when weather might cause a delay.  If this happens, an announcement will be made for guests.

Wishing you a magical trip!  If you have any further questions, please let us know.  -Kara
