We are planning on attending Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween party this year. What are the rules for adults wearing costumes? Do most adults dress-up? I'm assuming there are no restrictions for kids' costumes.

Hi Marlo! Absolutely adults wear costumes along with the kids during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom.  You will see many families wearing costumes that relate to each other as a group and so many are so creative and unique.

Disney asks that guests use common sense with their costumes and do not wear full inappropriate masks.  If adults dress as a character they may not assume that character during their stay on Disney property. In other words guests may not give out an autograph for the character they are portraying or speak as if they were that character to any other guest or cast member.

My best advice to those who will be choosing a costume is to think about what the weather and temperatures will be for the time of year they will be attending and also make sure their costume is comfortable enough so they can enjoy the attractions.

This is a fun party and I just purchased my second night of tickets so I can attend with my other grandchild.  Look for crayons and bowling pins this year and you might be spotting me!
