We are planning on attending mickeys not so scary halloween party. What is some info you can give about this? We have a 2 and 4 year old. Do the children dress up in costumes and go trick or treating?

    Hello, Lara!

One of the best parts about attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is dressing up in a costume and trick-or-treating throughout the Magic Kingdom. Some families come dressed in matching shirts while others show their Disney Side by their costume choices. One year I saw a family with a Haunted Mansion theme, complete with a Madame Leota and three Hitch Hiking Ghosts. Since the theme is "not so scary", adults are asked not to wear scary masks so that little ones can join in on the fun.

During the party, your will find lots of entertainment and a few party exclusives. From Character Dance Parties to Character Meet-N-Greet opportunities dressed in Halloween costumes, your little ones are sure to have a great time. Be sure to see Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade and the Villains Castle Show. After your trick-or-treat bags are filled with delicious treats, make your way to Cinderella Castle to watch Happy HalloWishes, a sorcerery of fireworks display.

Just today the Disney Parks Blog released the 2015 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates. Tickets will go on sale in April. Keep an eye on the blog as more party details and updates will be released in the coming months.

I am sure that little ones will have a spooktacular time joining Mickey Mouse at this very special event! Please let me know if you have further questions. I'm happy to help!
