    Planning to attend the 6:15 or 8:30 pm Hoop Dee Do Revue on 11/1. Planning to take the boat ride from MK to FW. MK closes at 8:00 pm. How do I get back to Shades of Green?

    Hi Louis! You will definitely enjoy the great Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show at Fort Wilderness during your Walt Disney World vacation. It is one of my family's favorites and something we try to do every year.

    As it gets closer to your reservation date please double check the hours of the Magic Kingdom park. They rarely close early in this park and so an 8pm closing is rare. Perhaps there is a special event party that night and if that is the case then the park will close for that much later meaning buses will run up to an hour after that ending. As long as the park is open for any reason there will be boat transportation back to the Magic Kingdom from Fort Wilderness.

    If the park does indeed close at 8pm that night then they will offer bus transportation from the Hoop Dee Doo to all resorts. Talk to the cast members at the dinner show and get instructions about where to go to catch these buses. They will often go to many different resorts so the trip can be lengthy.

    Another option is to take an internal bus back to the front of the resort and call for a taxi. The cost will likely be under $20 and will certainly be the fastest way back to your resort. The number to use is 407-422-2222. We have never waited more then 15 minutes even on a rainy night. Hope this helps with your planning for the fall vacation!
