Boo to you, Michelle, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What an exciting experience for your family this October, to be attending
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party!
As a mom of three Mouseketeers under the age of 8, I understand your plight! Traveling with little ones can be a daunting experience, so it’s always a good idea to plan ahead, like you’re doing! There isn’t an exact schedule of events for Oogie Boogie Bash just yet, but you can check out the events included in the Bash
here, listed under “Mischievous Mayhem” and “Event Highlights.”
So, here’s what we do know: The Bash runs from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM on select evenings in September and October. On your Bash night, you’ll be allowed to enter Disney California Adventure Park starting at 3:00 PM. I reviewed the events listed on the Oogie Boogie Bash page, and pulled out a few I think your twins will especially enjoy:
- Villainous – The all-new World of Color show designed exclusively for Oogie Boogie Bash, and the perfect way to end the night for your little ones.
- Trick-or-Treating – What would Halloween be without candy?! Your twins will love seeking out candy cauldrons at treat stations throughout the park.
- DescenDance – My three children are super excited for this all-new experience! It’s a dance party featuring favorite Characters and hit songs from Disney’s Descendants films. And what toddlers don’t love a good dance party?!
- Frightfully Fun Parade – This classic parade is back and better than ever! Watch favorite Disney Characters appear in masquerade, along with Villains and Characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
- Mickey’s Trick & Treat – This all-new live show at Disney Theater features Mickey and friends sharing not-so-scary Halloween tales… perfect for your toddlers!
- Character Encounters – Be sure to save some time to meet and pose with favorite Characters decked out in their Halloween finest!
Stop by Cars Land to see the Halloween Time fun in Radiator Springs, which transforms into Radiator Screams for this special season.
Also, if your family could use a break, I recommend stopping by the Baby Care Center, located on Pacific Wharf, just behind Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. This is the perfect spot to change or feed your little ones, or even potty-train on the tiny toilets!
Lastly, I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more Oogie Boogie Bash updates as Halloween Time quickly approaches.
Wishing you and your family many happy haunts this October!
