Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this SPOOKTACULAR question, Heather!
I'm thrilled to hEAR you are planning to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2019! My children and I attended this event at Magic Kingdom Park last yEAR. We went dressed as Moana, Hei Hei and Te Fiti. I hope you have some
fun costumes planned too!
Guests of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have been granted entrance to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. However, since the official start of the party isn't until 7:00 p.m., there is absolutely no guarantee you will be allowed to enter the party before 7:00 p.m. The actual time designated for Guests with just Party Tickets to enter Magic Kingdom Park is a decision that is made nightly.
If you link the special event Party Tickets to your My Disney Experience account, you could possibly book
FastPass+ reservations up to 7:00 p.m. Last yEAR I able to lock in FastPass+ choices inside the two-hour window before the party officially kicked off at 7:00 p.m. (using only Party Tickets). Once the party starts, there aren't any FastPass+ entitlements available. However, the crowds are lighter and only the FastPass+ lanes are open.
Heather, I've also heard of Guests where the system didn't allow them to book FastPass+ with just their special event tickets. I recommend linking your Party Tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Then mark your calendar and jump on the site as soon as your FastPass+ booking window opens. Hopefully, with a bit of faith, trust and pixie dust your FastPass+ wish will come true!
