Hi Cindy!
I'm so excited to hear that you are planning on visiting
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party because it's my favorite special event in Magic Kingdom! The atmosphere of the theme park totally changes to fit the "not-so-scary" theme of the party. Guests are able to enjoy incredible special entertainment in the party, including an exclusive Castle forecourt show, parade and fireworks. Plus, you just can't beat trick-or-treating in Magic Kingdom!
I have enjoyed Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party multiple time and I have taken my little ones twice. The last time they went, my youngest was 3 years old and my oldest was 5 years old. The party is very family-friendly and is much more about the fun side of Halloween than the spooky part. For my little ones, we did choose to skip Haunted Mansion, as it is a little bit too much for them. I have found that is really the only spot where the party atmosphere can be a little scary for little ones. My little ones were also a little bit afraid of Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs when we took a
Disney PhotoPass picture with her, so you may want to keep that in mind as you plan the photo opportunities you would like to visit. Otherwise, my boys loved the shows, parade and the fireworks and got huge bags of candy during our evening!
We don't have the details for this year's party, so I recommend that you keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog over the next few months so you can get the latest information about all of the fun you will be able to enjoy during your party evening! Also, let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
