We are planning to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this December. What time does the snow usually fall on Main Street?

Ho-ho-ho! Hello there, Megan, and welcome to the jolliest place on the internet... planDisney! Thank you so, so much for stopping by with your question. I'm so happy to see you here today!

Even though I don't have a specific answer for you, I can tell you that I've seen snow fall on Main Street, U.S.A. at pretty random times during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. In 2019, I remember it happening every hour on the hour, but in 2021 it was a little more spaced out. What I can tell you is that it will definitely snow during Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, which takes place twice on party nights, and at the end of the party as everyone heads out.

Megan, I actually suggest spending a big chunk of time walking around Main Street during the party, because the ambiance is simply unbeatable and so, so magical. You could take advantage of the lighting, the music, and the overall Holiday cheer to snap some pictures in front of Cinderella Castle, and then use those for your 2023 Holiday cards. Here's a compilation of our favorite Holiday card ideas!

Remember that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket holders are welcome to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 p.m., even though the actual party doesn't start until 7 p.m. I suggest that you take advantage of this time to experience one or two attractions and eat dinner. I always try to make 6 p.m. reservations for The Crystal Palace, because I can see Main Street transform into a magical Christmas town right before my eyes. Then, when I walk out of the restaurant, I'm ready to party!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help! I wish you a very merry Christmas (in June!). Have a magical day, Megan!

    Warm hugs,
