I am planning to attend Disneyland on October 27, 2019. I understand that the regular ticket price is $149.00. Do I also need to pay a separate ticket fee to attend the Oogie Boogie Bash as well?

A Halloween boo to you, Johnna! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I can’t believe Halloween Time is here! From the festive décor, to the frightfully fun Character Halloween costumes and delicious themed food, there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy this time of year!

I checked the ticket pricing for Sunday, October 27, 2019, and you’re correct that currently, a 1-Day Peak Ticket with Admission to 1 Park will cost $149, though prices are subject to change without notice. This ticket will allow you to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park during regular operating hours. Park hours aren’t set yet for October 27, but we do know that Disney California Adventure Park will close to regular-admission Guests by 6:00 PM for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. So, if you wish to attend the Oogie Boogie Bash, you’ll need to purchase a separate Special Event Ticket. Bash Guests are allowed to enter Disney California Adventure Park starting at 2:00 PM on that particular Sunday, so you’d be able to enjoy the park between 2:00 PM and 11:00 PM if you choose to purchase a ticket to the Bash

Currently, the October 27 Oogie Boogie Bash event is showing "Sold Out" online. I recommend calling Disneyland Resort Tickets at (714) 781-4636 to check if any additional tickets are available – sometimes the Resort holds a select number of tickets for phone orders. It certainly doesn’t hurt to ask!

Disneyland Park also offers some spook-tacular Halloween Time fun, including the classic Haunted Mansion Holiday, which is always a favorite of mine! There’s nothing like the Characters and story of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to get you in the Halloween and Holiday spirit!

Wishing you many happy haunts this October!
