I am planning to attend Animal Kingdom with my daughter who is 1 year old. What do I need to provide since she does not need a ticket?

    Hi Jennifer,

Animal Kingdom is a great park to visit with a 1-year-old. We spent a lot of time there when my daughter was that age, and she loved seeing the animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris, visiting characters, and petting goats and sheep in the Affection Section of Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Because she is younger than 3, your daughter will not need a ticket, and you won't need to show any proof of her age. She will simply be able to enter the park with you and join you on any rides or attractions for which you have a FastPass+ as long as it doesn't have a height requirement.

You may want to take advantage of the Baby Care Center in the Discovery Island section. And this guide for visiting with little ones may also be useful.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit with your little one. Enjoy!
