I am planning my annual trip to DW with my son for his eighth birthday. He is athletic and won't be satisfied with the child dining plan. Is there a way to upgrade his dining to adult this year even though he is only 8. I don't mind paying the adult price?

    Hi Benjamin,

I can think of no better place for your Son to celebrate his 8th birthday than Walt Disney World and can certainly understand that your Son may want to experience more adult food options during your visit.

As the Disney Dining Plan is linked to your theme park tickets, the only way that it is possible to upgrade his Dining Plan would be to upgrade his theme park tickets to that of an adult as well.

If you did decide to do this, he would then be classed as an adult and would be entitled to eat from the adult menu on the Disney Dining Plan.

I hope that this information has been of help and wish you a magical trip!
