    We're planning an anniversary trip to WDW Dec 2022. We wanted to book a stay at Drury hotel at Disney Springs. Is this a good neighbor hotel? How does this affect Individual Lightning lane purchasing times and advance dinner reservations?

    Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your questions!

    First off, congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! Walt Disney World in December is one of my favorite times of year because you have the magic of the holiday season and you all will get to top it off with an anniversary celebration, how amazing! Make sure to stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog in the coming months to see all that might be happening during the month of December.

    Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels offer close proximity and transportation to Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks as well as high quality accommodations with multiple room types. Many of the hotels also have vacation packages; you can call 407-W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639 to hear more! Here’s a list of all the hotels in the collection, it doesn’t look like the Drury Hotel is one of them. Maybe while you’re exploring the list, you’ll find another similar to the Drury Hotel!

    When it comes to advance dining reservations, all guests can make their reservations up to 60 days in advance. Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels can make reservations for their stay (up to 10-day stay) up to 60 days in advance of their check-in date. As a part of the Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels collection, you’d be able to make your dining reservations 60 days in advance of the day you’re hoping to go! 

    For Individual Lightning Lanes, you would be able to make your selections as soon as each Theme Park opens. Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green hotels are able to book Individual Lightning Lanes at 7:00 a.m. each day. Hakuna Matata, I’ve actually had some luck finding Individual Lightning Lanes well after Theme Park opening a few times, of course it’s subject to availability, but it can definitely happen!
