Hi, Kerry! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
The Disneyland Resort is open 365 days per year and this includes the
Downtown Disney District. This means that all the shopping and dining will be available to you and if you want to slip into the parks on Christmas Day, you can do so as well! If you are looking for a great meal, you might also look into the
dining options available at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. The hotels are all within walking distance of the Downtown Disney District and offer character buffets, lounges, quick service, and fine dining options that will be available that day and, like the Downtown Disney District, don't require a theme park ticket to enjoy.
Keep in mind, though, that the entire
Holiday season is a very popular time to visit the parks and a lot of folks do head to the Disneyland Resort on Christmas Day. So, I suggest that you research the dining options available and be ready to make a reservation online or by calling (714) 781-3463 up to 60 days in advance. Advanced planning will ensure you get a table for your Christmas meal.
If you have any other questions about your Christmas Day visit to the Disneyland Resort, please don't hesitate to stop by again!
