Planning AK lunch for 3 adults, 2 children - 5 & 8. Help! Fast passes for Expedition & Kilamanjaro @ 11:30 & 3:30. Would Tiffins @ 12:30 be too out-of-the-way? Should we opt for quick svc/snacks instead? If so which ones are great?

    Dear Kristen,

Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your terrific question about planning out your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom

I think you have an awesome plan already! I would try to head to Expedition Everest towards the early end of your FastPass+ window, and when you're finished with that, mosey back in the direction of Africa, then make a left onto Discovery Island and wind your way back towards Tiffins. I had an opportunity to dine there recently and it is WELL worth the walk! After you have a lovely and leisurely meal there, you can go out and towards Africa and enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris with your family afterwards. I think that you have plenty of time to do everything that you want without rushing.

If you decide that you really aren't comfortable with your plan, I recommend Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes for a Quick-Service bite. Delicious!

Moms Panel tip - Be sure to check out Wilderness Explorers at Disney's Animal Kingdom - your kids will love it!

Hope that your stay is magical!
