Hi!! We are planning to take advantage of the Magic Hours in Epcot when we travel since we're staying on site. Normally the park opens at 9am (Future World) and 11am (World Showcase). Do both sections open at 8am during morning magic hours?

    Hello Lizbeth,

I am thrilled that you have come to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with so many questions. We simply love sharing our tips and helping other guests get the most magic out of their trips. I just know you are looking forward to getting to all that Walt Disney World has to offer.

The Extra Magic Hours are a fantastic perk exclusively for those staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and experiencing some "bonus" time in the parks. When Epcot has early morning hours, it is for Future World only. World Showcase will continue to open at 11am. So, this is the perfect time to ride Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Living with the Land or Soarin', which was recently re-imagined to include sites from around the world instead of just California.

You might also consider making reservations for a character breakfast at The Garden Grill around 9am, after that extra hour. This unique dining experience is a revolving restaurant with some of the freshest food harvested right there in the Land Pavilion. Meet Chip and Dale and a few other friends in their country best.

    Enjoy your morning in Epcot!
