Am planning my ADRs to call on July 1st. (180 day mark) and don't want any surprises. Am on the DDP and plan on HDR, and BBB for my princess. They will take credit card info but I want to be clear, will they charge anything on July 1? Always great help, TY

    Hi there, Lana!

When you make your reservations, as you are aware, you'll be asked to give a credit card number. This is not always to pre-pay, but to serve as "insurance" for Disney: should your party not cancel in the policy stated by each location, you will be assessed a fee (again, dependent upon each location).

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique discloses that "A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to such credit card for all no-shows or if reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of experience."

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue does require pre-payment, so you will want to do the following to bypass the charges and have the total number of entitlements deducted instead:

Log on to the Disney World Web site.

Click on the "Where to Eat" link.

Under the "Restaurant Name" fields, you'll see a link that reads, "I want to use my dining plan to book reservations."

    Click it before beginning.

If you haven't yet entered your Walt Disney World reservation number or the system can't find it, you may enter it on this screen.

    Have a great time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
