Hello Margarita!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You must be very excited about planning a visit during the holidays. This is my favorite time of the year to visit, and apparently it is everybody else’s favorite time too!
New Year's Eve is one of the busiest days of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort, so I suggest spending your day at Epcot, because the park is more spread out and you can navigate more easily, even with heavy crowds. This is particularly important if you are traveling with a 3-year-old who will most likely require a stroller. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is smaller so you might find it harder to push the stroller around.
My final tips:
- Arrive early. Once again, this is a very busy time of the year, and it is not uncommon for parks to reach their maximum capacity earlier in the day.
- Make dining reservations 180 days in advance to make sure you have a great meal on the day you will be ringing in the New Year. My suggestions for Epcot with kids are
The Garden Grill Restaurant and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. The fastests and easiest way to make reservation is by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
- Bring warm clothes, because it can get very cold in the parks at night.
I hope this helps you while planning! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
