Hi Emilyn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! It is SO CLOSE and I know you must be so very excited to be heading on the high seas for a fun adventure at sea!
Packing always ends up being the most daunting of tasks for me as I prepare for my cruise vacations – and it’s even more so if you are packing for an entire family! I always put it off to the last minute and then end up bringing more than I ever could possible need! With a few themed nights on your sailing including a Pirate Night, Halloween-night, semi-formal and a formal night, there is a lot to think about packing! But, one of the best things (in my opinion) about cruising onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is that there really isn’t a strict dress code for the main dining room dinner service. Dressy sandals are most definitely allowed in the main dining rooms and even are acceptable in the
adult-exclusive restaurants if you opt to make a reservation there for one evening while onboard. You will see quite a variety of attire on Guests in the main dining rooms each evening – from very formal to sundresses, from costumes to Halloween-themed t-shirts!
Have you checked out the onboard
photo packages yet?!? The onboard photographers are available in the main atrium before (or after) dinner service each night to capture some great photos – we always use this as an opportunity to get a good family photo since I can usually get everyone cleaned up and everyone is all smiles while on vacation resulting in a great family photo!
Wishing you a FANTASTic and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
