Hello, we are planned on visiting the parks December 19-26 2021..when will I be able to make resort reservations? And do I need to purchase the tickets first to be able to make the reservations? Thank you !

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nadia! I'm so glad to hear that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort next winter. The holiday season is my favorite time to visit the Most Magical Place On Earth! The Theme Parks and Resort Hotels are magical every single day of the year, but there really is something special about that extra layer of pixie dust that gets sprinkled around Christmastime, so let's chat about when you might be able to book your vacation.

At this moment, guests are currently able to book vacation packages for 2021 that include dates through September 26. The last few months of the year haven't quite opened up for booking just yet, but that should happen relatively soon so I suggest you bookmark the Disney Parks Blog and keep checking back so you can stay up-to-date on all of the breaking news. Its been the number one source of information about the phased re-opening process of Walt Disney World Resort, so it will likely also be the first place you'll hear about being able to book vacation packages for the last few months of 2021, including the time you want to go.

To answer your second question, you do not need to purchase your admission first in order to reserve your stay. Your tickets are purchased at the same time as your Resort Hotel when you're booking a vacation package, which makes it really easy to start planning your trip. You don't need to worry about linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience account, as it will all be done for you at the time of booking, just like magic!

I hope this answers your question Nadia, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
