Hello! I planned a vacation in December and already loaded our tickets on my Disneyland app. Is there a way to remove them? My travel agent is suggesting it just in case there is a problem traveling due to COVID and we need to (gulp) reschedule.

    Hey Harla!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is my favorite time to visit!

There’s nothing like the Happiest Place on Earth all decked out for the holidays! The sights, the sounds and smells of Christmas bring happiness to my heart. My family has a long standing tradition of only visiting Santa at the Disneyland Resort. We absolutely love the Christmas tree on Main Street U.S.A and at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa as well. I can almost smell the gingerbread from the gingerbread house in the lobby. It’s more of a gingerbread mansion when you consider 600 pounds of gingerbread and over 1,000 hours of baking! I really hope they offer the Grand Gingerbread House Experience this year. Hotel guests get to work with the talented pastry chefs, who create the masterpiece in the lobby, to create a miniature version to take home!

I’m so glad to see that you are using the Disneyland Mobile App! It’s been an absolute game changer for our family and we couldn’t visit the parks without it! Loading your tickets into the app is the best thing you can do. You don’t have to worry about losing them, forgetting them when you do travel and you can walk right up to the turnstile and scan your ticket to get in. Even if you have to reschedule, the tickets are still valid until their expiration date. And even if the tickets expire before your rescheduled trip, you can still use them for the value of the ticket and just pay any differences if there has been a price increase. If you put them under your name and someone else is going to use them it’s OK as well. They don’t actually get assigned until you scan them at the gate and a Cast Member takes your picture to go with the ticket. If you still really want to remove the tickets, you’ll have to call Ticket Member Services for further assistance.

Well Harla, I hope you found this information useful and I’m sending you all the Pixie Dust for a successful trip in December.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
