We have planned a vacation from 1/23 to 1/31/2014. Our children will be 5, 3, and 1 at time of travel. I am curious on whether park hopping is a good idea for such a young family? My husband and I have been twice before, but never with children.

    Hi Alisha!

We've traveled with our 3 kids at your kids' ages, and we've always park hopped, even with a 7 week old in tow! We always head back to our resort for a nap during midday, so that makes it easy to hop to another park in the evening.  We also prefer to eat dinner at Epcot's World Showcase, so we end up back there almost every night for dinner!

If you're not planning on taking a nap/rest time for your little ones, and are relying on Disney Transportation to get you from Point A to Point B, then I'd probably not park hop.  Transportation can eat up a bit of time, so it might be worth it to stay and maximize your time.  If you've got your own vehicle, then it's usually less time consuming.

    Have a magical vacation!
