Hi I have a planned trip for this weekend. I was just wondering since it’s my first time taking my kids to Disneyland do they need to take a COVID test before entering the park ?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Yanneth!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are honored to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! The absolute BEST way to experience the MAGIC of Disney is through the eyes of a child! I am so excited for all of you!

I want to start off by saying that Mickey Mouse and his pals truly want every Guest of the Disneyland Resort to have the most AH-mazing time at the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH! While they know riding all the attractions and seeing all of the Disney characters are incredibly important, they want you to know your health is one of their main priorities. All that being said, obtaining a negative COVID-19 test before entering a Disneyland Theme Park is highly recommended; however, it is not required at this time. As you plan, please be aware that face coverings are required in all indoor areas, including attractions, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are not required in outdoor areas.

As you know, exciting announcements are being made all of the time at the Disneyland Resort, and we don't want you to miss a THING! That is why I highly recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and make sure to subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information.

If you need anything else, please let us know. We are just a question away!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
