I planned our trip for 12/4/2010-12/11/2010 because I wanted low crowd levels. Now I'm not so sure. Should I have picked the first or second week in November? Is the beginning of December still a good time to go as far as crowds are concerned?

    Hi Lindsey,

Ahhh, the act of second guessing - you'll be doing that all through the trip planning process!  Would the first or second week in November be less crowded?  Possibly.  I can tell you that our family traveled to Walt Disney World during the first week in December this year, and the crowd levels were perfect.  They were small enough that the wait times for the attractions were manageable, but large enough so the parks still felt busy.

This is just an opinion, of course, but I think your travel dates are great!  You'll be able to enjoy the holiday decorations and special events of the season without the crowds that are present later in the month.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
