We planned our trip closer than the 180 day dining reservation time and are having a hard time getting reservations. Is it easier to obtain dining reservations if you are on the dining plan?

    Hi Chad:

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am sorry you have not been able to secure the Advanced Dining Reservations you would like.  Being on the Disney Dining Plan should not make a difference in securing dining reservations.  I would recommend that you continue to check the dining locations you would like to visit, I honestly find that openings do come up as we get closer to our visits.  Guests tend to finalize their schedules and cancel some of the reservations.  I would also try looking at dining during non-peak times, your chances may be better.  If all else fails, when you arrive at the theme park, head to the dining location you would like to eat at as early as possible and ask if their are any openings.  Be flexible with your times and you may get lucky!

Sending you extra pixie dust in hope that you will secure your Advanced Dining Reservations.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
