Hello, we have planned a surprise Orlando trip for the last week of March to take our 7 year old to Disney and password. After booking everything,we noticed the words Spring Break appearing. Can you give some insight into crowds?

Hi Michael, Spring Break is a time when schools are off for a week which may prompt more families to visit Walt Disney World.  Some school districts have a fixed week for their break from year to year.  Other schools adjust their break according to the Easter Holiday.  This year, Easter is on Sunday March 31st.  For the schools that adjust their Spring Break, they will likely have the week before Easter off from school.

That being said, the crowds may be elevated during your travel time.  However, I don't think the crowds will be at a peak level.  To work around the crowds, you can plan on arriving at the parks early and take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours that are offered on select days.  If you have a park hopper and find a park is getting too crowded for your comfort, you can always switch parks mid-day to see if the crowd level is any better.

    Have a fabulous vacation!
