Hi Marsha! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Oh boy! Your trip is just a short couple of weeks away! I’m sure everyone in your party is getting excited! I’m happy you have decided on a Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your stay. There is nothing quite like being immersed in the magic for the entirety of your vacation! Plus, you’ll get to take advantage of some of the perks of staying onsite!
Early Theme Park Entry is available to all Guests staying in a Disney Resort. You will be allowed to enter the parks 30 minutes before the official opening time. If you are an early riser like me, this will give you a chance to fit in more attractions with shorter wait times.
While I love Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort for many reasons, the one thing that separates
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is the transportation options available. The
Disney Skyliner has been a welcomed addition to this resort and adds an element of excitement to traveling to the parks. Instead of waiting in line for a bus, you can hop on the Disney Skyliner and fly to either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT in a matter of minutes. It also opens up your dining options as well. You can take the Skyliner to
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and check out
Sebastian's Bistro or head on to
Disney’s Riviera Resort for a reservation at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. It allows for more flexibility than just what your resort offers.
To answer your question, if you have your tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account and your park reservations have been secured, changing your resort will not affect this. If you are hesitant to do so, your best option would be to
call the Disney Resorts Hotel Reservations line and speak to a Cast Member directly for assistance. They will be able to make the change over the phone and ensure that nothing is lost in the process. Again, you should not have any issue with doing so yourself if that was the more convenient option.
Marsha, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming stay! Spring is a beautiful time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort!
See ya real soon!
Greg
