Are there any planned refurbishments or closures of rides in 2025 across the Disney World parks? Thank you! ❤️

Hi Zoe! Welcome to planDisney! Knowing which attractions might be scheduled for maintenance or refurbishment during your visit is an important part of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There is a great tool available for Guests wishing to know that very information!

When you visit the Walt Disney World Resort website, enter “Day Calendar” in the search bar. When you come to the calendar page, you can select the day or dates you wish to view. You will see each park listed individually. Under each park, if there is a planned refurbishment or maintenance, there will be a section titled, “Closed for Refurbishment.” Click there for a listing of any planned closures.

Zoe, the Walt Disney World Resort will list planned closures as quickly as possible. It is important to note that unplanned closures can occur. Also, a closure might be listed after you book your vacation. Something similar happened to my family during our last visit. We booked our visit about six months in advance, and we then found out about two months before our visit that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith would be closed for refurbishment. Of course, we were disappointed because that is one of our family favorites, but we still had a great visit and enjoyed all our other favorite attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well as the other three parks!

Keep checking the Day Calendar on the website for any planned refurbishments! It will be updated to help Guests with their planning!

    Dreams do come true!
