We planned one day for Hollywood Studios. Must activities for us are Oga's Cantina, Lightsaber & Droid building. How should we schedule our day if we want to do all three + all the rides. Is it better back to back or staggered?

    Bright Suns Kathryn,

Welcome to planet planDisney! We are thrilled to welcome you today and answer your question. When it comes to planning a vacation to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, consider me a humble Jedi Master. Batuu is a fantastic place to visit, and based on your must-do list, you will be entrenched in some of the best it offers. Since there is indeed a lot to explore and experience, I had to give your query a great deal of thought. C3PO has cautioned me to take into consideration the time requirements associated with each activity (around 20 minutes to craft a lightsaber, 30 minutes for Droid Depot, and 45 minutes to explore Batuu’s local watering hole Oga’s Cantina). While ultimately, the path you follow is your own, here is how I would spend a day in Galaxy’s Edge.

I would get onto my datapad/mobile device and purchase an Individual Lightning Lane to take on the First Order in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. I would also purchase Disney Genie+ to activate hyperdrive to ride the other attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (including Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run) while maximizing my park day. After starting my day taking on Kylo Ren, I would build my BB-series Droid. This way, I could spend most of the daytime hours letting my droid interact with the special areas in Batuu. Then I would spend the afternoon riding attractions while others enjoyed their Ronto Wraps and other dishes during peak lunch hours. I would take a much-needed break at Oga’s Cantina in the late afternoon-early evening. Here I could listen to the tunes of DJ R-3X, refuel, and plan my next steps with all the other visiting travelers. Finally, I would attend an evening reservation at Savi’s Workshop. After constructing my lightsaber under the tutelage of the Gatherers, I would take advantage of the night sky and illuminate my saber in front of the Millennium Falcon. Not only would it make for excellent images, but it is also, in my opinion, the best way to admire your handiwork and avoid detection by the First Order.

As I mentioned before, the choice is yours, but I hope my advice gives you food for thought. May the force be with you, Padawan!
