Hi Alane, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm happy to help you navigate the dining options available for your Mouseketeer.
One of the things I love about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is the feeling that they truly want to provide a magical experience for all of their Guests. In particular, the food service Cast Members take great care to prepare meals that Guests with food allergies and intolerances can enjoy, whether at quick service or table service restaurants. To get in touch with a Cast Member who can answer your questions about
Special Dietary Requests, you can send them an email at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.
Alane, if you'd like to
look over the menus of the restaurants you're considering before your trip, many of them do have allergy friendly selections listed, like
this sample menu from the ABC Commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you scroll down a bit, you'll see a selection of items that are "Peanut/Tree Nut Allergy-Friendly." And of course, when you're dining at a table service location, your server will absolutely work with your family to provide a tasty and safe meal for your son.
Also, you're welcome to
bring your own food into the theme parks with you. You can tote a small soft-sided cooler to keep everything fresh, and then pop into a quick service seating area to enjoy your snack (and some air conditioning!).
I hope this helps you plan a magical vacation for your whole family, Alane. Please be sure to come back and see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
