Planned a last minute Disney Trip in 2 weeks (3rd week in August). This is our first time at WDW. I'm having trouble getting dinner reservations. Are reservations absolutely necessary? We have the dining plan.

    Hi Amy,

I'm sorry that you've been having difficulty getting dining reservations. Reservations are essential for some locations - especially popular character dining restaurants.

I'd recommend that you keep checking for availability. Cancellations do happen, but you'll want to check frequently. You can also ask your resort concierge to check for availability once you are on property.

Often, the resort restaurants have more availability, so be sure to check those.

Good luck and have a great vacation!
