Hi there, Elizabeth!

Welcome to planDisney! I always get excited about a last-minute trip to the Disneyland Resort, but I also know that sometimes less planning time makes things a little tricky. I'll do my best to help you come up with some ideas to make your trip extra sweet!

Typically once special events like Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite are sold out there are no additional tickets available through the Disneyland Resort Hotels. As you said, it doesn't hurt to ask, so you can certainly ask at the hotel once you're there. But I wouldn't plan on them having tickets for you. I'm sorry, I know that's not the answer you were hoping for!

Because Disneyland Park will be closing early for the special event I would recommend either spending the day in Disney California Adventure Park or purchasing Park Hopper tickets so that your day doesn't get cut short. For a romantic alternative to Sweethearts' Nite you might try the World of Color Dessert Party! It is the perfect way to watch World of Color, with snacks, treats, drinks, and an incredible view. You would need reservations, so you'll want to check online to see if your dates are available soon!

I'm sorry I don't have better news for you about the special event, Elizabeth. But I hope you and the one you love will still have an amazing visit to the parks!
