Hello Amanda and welcome to planDisney!
I am so proud of you! Planning a trip is not only exhilarating and exciting, but it can be darn right exhausting at times! Having planDisney right here by your side will help you keep the exhausting part to a minimum and the exhilarating part to a hot diggity dog!
Let’s get you to that balance of yours. First, you’ll need to log into your
My Disney Experience account either on the website or on the mobile app. If you go to the website, go to the “My Disney Experience” tab on the top of the page and select “My Plans and Tickets”. Scroll down and you will find your resort reservation with a selection box to make a payment. In the
mobile app, select the menu button, the three lines at the bottom right, then select “My Plans”. Your reservation details should pop up under “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets”. You will see a place to make a payment by following the instructions.
If you are still not able to find your reservation, you might not have it linked to your My Disney Experience account. To link a reservation on the mobile app, select the menu button, scroll down to “Hotel Reservations” and select it. It will take you to a “Resort Reservation” link box where you will enter the confirmation number for your reservation and your last name, hit link resort, and it will be added to your account.
If you are still having issues, give the
Walt Disney World Resort Reservations phone line a call and a friendly Cast Member will walk you through the process!
If you’ve booked a vacation package, the final payment is due 30 days before your arrival date. For room only reservations, the balance is typically paid at check-in.
Amanda, make sure you set an alarm for 6am at the 60-day mark before your arrival date so you can secure
dining reservations for your trip. If you are staying at a valid Disney Resort Collection hotel, you can set dining for up to ten days at the 60-day mark! I look at it as the first rope drop of my Disney Vacation!
Amanda, have a magical vacation, and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
Kurt
