We have planned our first Disney trip for this Christmas. Our girls will be 7 and 6, but we will have a new addition a 2 month old! Any tips on traveling with such a little one, or should we cancel?

    Hi Kelly,

First, congratulations on expecting a new family member! How exciting! Second, you absolutely do not need to cancel your upcoming vacation. In fact, ten years ago when my youngest went on her first Disney vacation, she was 3 months old, her sister was 2 years old, her brother was 4 years old, her other brother was 8 years old and her oldest sister was 12 years old. Traveling with our itty-bitty baby was very easy. I nursed her, and therefore I didn't have to worry about bottles and formula in the parks. However, if you will need those items, there are Baby Care Centers in each of the parks to make things easier for you. I recommend bringing your own stroller if you have the kind that has the snap in carrier (like a Graco Travel System). This made it really easy when we were dining inside restaurants, as we simply disconnected the carrier and brought it inside for our baby to sleep/sit. Those strollers are great because there are canopy covers that will help to protect baby's sensitive skin from the sun. Make sure that you familiarize yourself with the locations of the Baby Care Centers as these are great places to get out of the heat, relax, change your baby, feed him or her and more.

Your older daughters will have such a wonderful vacation and a Disney vacation is a great way to make them feel extra special while they learn to share the limelight with a new baby.

Please let me know if I can assist you further and have a wonderful vacation,
