    Hi Moms! I planned what I feel is a perfect Disney World vacation for our family. Then Disney announced the Star Wars Marathon - Dark Side April 14-17. Our trip is planned for April 18-26. Will the marathon crowds impact our trip?

    You can rest assured Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend  - The Dark Side will not cause any considerable issues for your vacation. The majority of participants will either already have had plans to be there during that time and will choose to race, or will be making their way back home on Monday, the day of your arrival. Statistically, those that come in specifically for a runDisney race event weekend do not extend their stays much beyond the Monday following a race. Keep planning like a Jedi Master and carry on.
