I planned all my fastpasses and dining reservations to go to AK on Tuesday, HS/Ep on Wednesday and MK on Thursday. There’s a 40-60% chance of rain now on Tues. Should I switch my park days around and lose my fastpasses or risk not being able to enjoy AK?

    Hello there, Paulina!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm more than happy to help!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is finally here, and I'm sure you were so disappointed to see rain in the forecast for this week. The good news is that a chance of rain in Florida can typically mean that the showers will only last for a few hours if even that long. So chances are good that your day will not be a complete washout!

Since you've already made your FastPass+ and dining reservations, I probably wouldn't make any changes to your schedule at this point and risk losing one of your preferred choices. Instead, I would try to plan around the rain as much as possible and do any outdoor attractions when the weather is clear. Hopefully, there will be at least a few hours at some point during the day with no rain for you to enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom. Oh, and ponchos are sold almost everywhere so be sure and pick up a few just in case!

I hope you have a wonderful week, and I hope there will be lots of sunny skies for you. Have fun!
