I just planned a family vacation for November 2009. Can anyone give me an idea of the general operating hours for the parks at this time of year. I know it's a long way off, but I'm anxious to start planning. Thanks for your help. Theresa

Hi Theresa! All of us on the Mom's Panel would say that planning your trip is almost as much fun as being there! It is very exciting when you have an upcoming trip, and planning is a great way to pass the time as you wait.

I would suggest that you visit www.intercot.com to view an archive of previous park hours. When you get to the homepage, click on the "Info Central" tab at the top of the page. Once you get to Info Central, scroll most of the way down the page and you'll come to a section titled "Park Hours/Events/Info". The second link in this section is the "Historical Park Hours Archive". This archive goes all the way back to 2002, and shows the hours for every day of the year, broken up by month and park.

This should give you a good idea of the November hours from years past. Typically, the parks opened around 9:00 am and had a closing time between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Some parks stayed open later and opened earlier than that, but those are the average. Don't forget, morning and evening extra magic hours will give you some extra time as well!

I hope this helps you begin planning your vacation!
