We have planned on eating at Chef Mickey's at 11:20 a.m. and I was wondering if we would have enough time to go to magic kingdom that morning (it opens at 9) on that day. If so, when should we leave M.K. And how long will it take to get our reservation?

    Hi there, Christina!

While you certainly can spend some time at Magic Kingdom Park before your dining reservation at Chef Mickey's, I can't help but think you will be rushed.  From Magic Kingdom Park to DIsney's Contemporary Resort, you can either take the monorail (first stop) or utilize the walking path.  You should check-in at Chef Mickey's by 11:10am for your reservation.  This means you should leave Magic Kingdom Park by 10:30am to be on the safe side.  You will, perhaps, have enough time to peruse the activities on Main Street USA or catch an attraction or two near the end of Main Street USA.  It really all depends on how much running around you are up for that morning.

Thanks for stopping by the DIsney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
