We planned to eat lunch at Be Our Guest. After seeing the kids lunch menu, I don't think my kids will eat anything on there. Is it possible to go during lunch hours and just have dessert? What are "lunch" hours? We really want to see inside the r

    Hi, Michelle!

I've eaten at Be Our Guest Restaurant at both lunch and dinner and can honestly say that dining there for either meal is really a treat!

The atmosphere in all of the rooms is unique to the space itself, so heading in for dessert and beverages during the lunch hours is a wonderful way to enjoy both the restaurant and the unique dining options you have there, too. You could order something from the adult menu and share it with your kids (the Croque Monsieur is a new favorite of mine) but the cupcakes and cream puffs are truly delicious; save room. The Triple Chocolate Cupcake and the Passion Fruit Cream Puff are so very tasty, with generous portions, but are also light enough to enjoy the entire piece all by yourself.

Because you can choose where you'd like to sit while enjoying lunch at BOG, walk through all three of your choices before selecting a table. I enjoyed our surroundings during our dinner in The West Wing, but I was enamored with the snowfall and the cherub paintings on the ceiling in The Ballroom at lunch. (Very special babies, indeed.)

Currently, lunch is served from 10 or 11 a.m. (depending on the season) until around 2:30 p.m., which allows Cast Members to change the location / menu over for something entirely different by the 4 p.m. start of dinner. Get there early for your intended dining time, as lines begin to form at this hot spot at least 1/2 prior to open on some days (yes, I was among those there EARLY; I even ate there for both lunch and dinner on the same day...and I would do it again, too. Yum and WOW!)

Enjoy your experience, Michelle! I'm sure you'll agree that this is one special addition to Magic Kingdom!

Send more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
